Q: In general, how long does it take for your personalized orders to be shipped out after the order is received?
A: Most of the year, orders are shipped out within 1-3 days. During my busiest season, Christmas, it may take as long as a week for orders to be shipped out.
Q: How much does the embroidery cost?
A: Base cost for sweatshirts are $38.00 with 12,000 stitches & t-shirts are $23.00 with 12,000 stitches. Additional stitches are $1.00 per thousand. If I am doing something outside the existing designs I'll be glad to quote it for you so you will know. Just give me a call or e-mail me your idea. Lots of times I will put the design together and e-mail it to you so you can see how it will look prior to ordering.
Q: What can be customized and personalized to what I want?
A: Pretty much anything! Names, words, dates, etc. may be added to nearly everything (additional charges may apply). The designs that you see on the site can be changed also. For example, Grandma could be changed to Nana, Big Sister could be changed to Biggest Sister, 2 a.m. could be changed to 3 a.m. Just make sure that I know what you desire and I will get it done!
Q: Can we view all of the stock embroidery designs on the web?
A: Yes, the majority of our designs are purchased from Dakota Collectibles. Simply go to their website, www.dakotacollectibles.com. On the left side of their site they have a portion labeled "Browse Designs". Under that label are many subcategories to view. When you have found a design that you would like to use, simply have the file number available so I will be able to find the correct design (usually two letters followed by four numbers). Colors may be changed.
Q: Where are you located?
A: In Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Q: What thread colors are the designs done in?
A: Generally, since colors obviously have to be changed for different colors of garments, I choose the colors that look the best if you do not specify color choices. But that doesn't mean that you can't choose the colors. If you would like a specific color of lettering, just specify it in your order. This is very common with wedding blankets.
Q: What can be done with my business logo or other design?
A: A design cannot be simply scanned in and then embroidered. It must be digitized first for my machine to recognize it. In this process, every stitch is put into the design. The cost of this process is approximately $50-$75, depending on the difficulty of the design. Turn around time is anywhere from 3 days and up. My digitizer does a wonderful job so please call today!
Q: I'm looking for wedding ideas. Do you know where to go?
A: First, we have 5 categories for bridal items. First are the wedding & anniversary blankets, then handkerchiefs, then bridal shower gifts, gifts for flower girl & ring bearer and last wedding hats. If you can't find anything there, just email me and I'll see what I can do.
